In 1978, Pretzel’s Inc. founders Bill Mann and Bill Huggins started building a strong business founded on trust and relationships. This passion and dedication allowed Pretzel’s Inc. to grow into a premier snack company known for innovation, quality and service.

Greg Pearson

Chief Executive Officer

Greg’s career in food manufacturing started right after graduating from Carleton College when he was recruited by General Mills. He was a member of their team for 12 years before moving to other experiences at companies such as ConAgra Foods and TreeHouse Foods. Greg joined our team after a successful stop at Chewy.com. He is eager to help Pretzels, Inc. launch into our future while holding true to our core values.

Greg obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with distinction. Additionally, he had the honor of being a Chair of the National Pasta Association, and is also dedicated to not-for-profit organizations focusing on early childhood education, having been inspired by his mother, a teacher.

Greg is devoted to his wife of five years, Laura, and their two children, son Gabriel and daughter Sofia. Together they all help take care of their furrier family members, a golden retriever and a labradoodle.

Paul Schaum

Paul is COO of Pretzels, Inc., having joined us with nearly 35 years of experience in baking and food manufacturing. This experience included 14 years with UTZ Quality Foods as VP of Manufacturing and nine years with Earthgrains/Sara Lee Baking as Plant Manager and Director of Total Quality Systems Nationally.

Graduating from West Chester University with a degree in Business Administration, Paul found a passion for food early in his career. He received the title of Certified Baker from the American Institute of Baking in Manhattan, Kansas. He truly learned his people-development skills as an Outward Bound and Survival School instructor as well as having had the fantastic experience of coaching the U.S. Marine Corps soccer team in Washington, D.C., for two years.

Paul’s family includes his wife of nearly 40 years, Carol, and their two children, Christopher and Kevin.

Craig Anderson

As Pretzel’s Inc. CFO, Craig believes that being a collaborative team and making sure that each system works together makes the strongest impact on an organization. Some of his previous experience includes years with Virtual Marketing Strategies and SGI, LLC.

An Indiana State University alumnus, Craig graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is an accredited Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant. Craig is also involved in his church and devotes time to helping his daughter by promoting autism awareness through the Autism Center.

Craig is married to his wife of nearly 28 years, Andrea. Together, they have two children in college at Indiana University whom they are very proud of, a son at the senior level and a daughter at the freshman level.

William “Chip” Mann II

Chip has the great honor of being a member of one of our two original founding families. He has been with us since 1988, when he started as a regional salesman. Today, he still has a great passion for our people and great-tasting, high-quality snacks as our Vice President of Sales and a member of our Board of Directors.

Calling Western Michigan University his alma mater, Chip graduated with a major in Business Administration. In his years since graduation and joining our team, Chip has been an active member with the Snack Food Association (SFA), sitting on many management workshop committees. He is a member of the SFA Excom Committee and Board of Directors and held the honor of SFA Chairman twenty years after his father held the same position.

When asked of his proudest moment, Chip answered with his admiration of our company’s ability to survive the tragic Christmas fire of 1997. He is proud of the way we took care of our people and customers, the way we survived, and the way we pulled together to rebuild.

Chip is married to his wife of more than 20 years, Kim. They have three children, Addie, Sadie, and Augie, who keep busy with school and sports activities.

Mike Kaczynski

Mike Kaczynski became a member of our team after spending 2 years with the Evans Food Group as their head of U.S. sales. He brings with him 30 years of experience from companies such as Nestlé, Dial, American Italian Pasta/Con Agra, and Hostess. He attended Mass College of Liberal Arts in Massachusetts where he received a bachelor’s in History. He also has previous experience with SNAC International as 2nd Vice Chairman and co-chaired the Women in Snacks Network.

Mike is married to his high school sweetheart and wife of 29 years, Mary Ellen. Together, they have 2 daughters, Rachel (25) & Christina (27). Rachel works for a marketing firm in Boston. Christina is currently a full-time mother and wife, married to Evan Rodriguez who is an NHL player with the Buffalo Sabres. They are the proud parents of 1-year-old baby boy, Grayson, Grandpa’s pride and joy.

Tim Jax

Tim Jax

Tim joined Pretzel’s Inc. after previously holding numerous leadership positions in marketing and innovation within the food industry. He most recently served as a general manager at TreeHouse Foods and previously as a brand manager leading Snacks Innovation at ConAgra Foods.

Tim earned his MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing Communications. He and his wife of eight years, Jessica, have two children, Henry and Eleanor.

Tami Lupton

Director of Human Resources

With 18 years of Human Resources experience under her belt and membership in SHRM, Tami joined our team prepared to lead our efforts in ensuring we are an employer of choice within our communities. She holds a strong focus in creating and maintaining a great culture centered around growth, development, and support. Her involvement with prior leadership teams and management strategies makes her a valuable asset to our Leadership Team.

Tami received her bachelor’s degree in Corporate Wellness & Recreation from Defiance College in Ohio. She joined our team after 4 years with Tower International, when she felt the desire to expand her career outside of the automotive industry. After experiencing the unstable nature of automotive, she was drawn to our team by the stability and continuous growth we provide.

Originally an Ohio native from the town of Bryan, she now resides in Fort Wayne, IN. Tami has been active in many community supports, including membership with the Kiwanis Club for nearly 8 years where she was a board member and served as President for a time. She is also devoted to her beloved 7-year-old labradoodle, Summitt.
